It’s not new for people on India that government is talking
about censorship on social media. Few months more Mr.Sibal was very keen to
introduce law to regulate social media specially twitter and facebook, which
created revolution like India Against Corruption. As soon as government started
talking about censorship on social media many people came with their view in favor
& against of Social media. Mr.Shashi Tharoor also wrote a very nice post on
supporting free speech and at same time supporting his Minister for his comment
for regulation on Social Media. for which many people replied to him and he took all the comment very positively

Do India need regulation on social media?

So answer is yes we need some regulation to control communal material.
There are many people on social platform, posting communal material with fake
identity. If we believe on recent incidents of North East & Riot took place
in Mumbai & chaos in many cities of India have been taken birth from social
website and sms. It’s very clear that we need some regulation to control social
media.

Why people are not supporting government on regulation of social
media?

People have fear that once regulation law will be on place then
government may start removing & blocking of material criticizing government
and it’s decision. It’s been also told that when last time government asked
search giant to remove some online material then most of the materials were
critising government than communal post.

Can we see Media supporting regulation on social media?

Yes, Media is now supporting regulation on social media as after
government it’s media getting attacked by unknown people on social websites. In
past social media trended issues like BarkhaGate when main stream media was
silent on 2G issue. Social websites have given many name to media and yes many
time abused them. Few recent tweet from Sagarika Ghose has shown that how
people are misusing social platform to abuse her. In back doors people are also
talking that social media is giving tough competition to Media houses when it
comes to breaking news.

Can we control social media with regulation?

Confused, Videos which were circulated showing muslims are
getting killied in Barma were circulated from out of India. Most of the fake
accounts are writing communal messages & operating from out of India.
Government has to keep monitoring all social platform very closely and keep
blocking websites which are writing hate speech.

Is there danger to Free Speech?

Yes, As told above government may start removing post, critising
government act and talking about all scam of government and it’s ministers.

Akhilesh v/s Rahul ?

Poll campaign in UP is over for last round. There were star campaigners from each party to woo voters. There were crowd pullers and vote looser in all parties. Here are the major debutant from all parties.



BJP introduced Uma again after her exile from BJP. She did come back again with more powers and more slogans.



BSP introduced no one and Maya here self tried to hold as many as rally as possible.



SP introduced Akhilesh Yadav to campaign in 2012 as their star campaigner. Akhilesh Yadav came in active politics in 2000 and won Lok Sabha election from Kannauj.

Congress introduced same face of Rahul Gandhi who is campaigning in UP from long time and increased their calculation in 2009 Lokshabh election and trying is luck in 2012 UP election.

So it Akhilesh v/s Rahul in UP ?



Akhilesh in UP from his birth and have seen all ups and down in UP where as Rahul came from foreign and took over in UP with the help of Gandhi name. We all know that SP and BSP are running for 1st and 2nd post and congress will be on 4th position. So it will be wrong saying it’s Akhilesh v/s Rahul.



Akhilesh will get more seats so there can’t be comparison with Rahul.

UP Result

Two rounds of voting has been done in UP. People of UP, Political leaders and News Channels are totally confused this time for outcome of UP election. 1st round saw 62% of voting but second round voting came down to 58%. Cast is voting factor in UP but that’s truth about voting in all over India excluding few Metro cities.

BSP- Mayavati did extra ordinary performance in last UP Election. She became CM in last UP election without taking support from any other political party as her own party got majority. This time Mayavati’s performance is not expected like last election as other than Dalit no one going to vote for her like they did in last election.



Dalits are loyal follower of Mayavati. They are not going to vote any other party despite big leaders are coming for dinner and night halt in their house. Dalits are voting Mayavati without any second thought in their mind.



Muslims are going to vote for Congress and SP. News Channels are trying their best to know percentage of Muslim voting to SP and Congress.



Yadavs are loyal follower of SP. They spent last five years like hell. They got biggest brunt of Mayavati’s government. Mayavati’s Governemnt law and order registered more FIR against them and no development in yadav’s zone. Yadavs failed to do any Rajashahi in her tenure so they are going to vote SP.



Thakurs always voted for BJP so they are going to vote BJP again and again as they don’t have any other choice. Congress will get small percentage of Thakurs vote in territory where Thakurs got ticket from Congress.

Brahman Pet Bhar Mil Jaye To Khoosh Ho Jate Hai ! Days have gone now they are part of politics. Brhaman’s contributed last time in victory of Mayavati but this time they are not going to vote BSP like last time. Brahmans are confused this time. They have not sure that whom they should vote. Brahamns are definitely not going to vote SP but they can vote BSP/Congress/BJP. If they voted to one party from any of three then that party will Win more seats or be ready for Re-election or supporting government of SP and Congress or Mayavati or BJP.

Law against Twitter Rants

There are many who crated duplicate of profile and using that account to promote hate of abuse other on twitter. I have noticed that most who are involved on twitter to abuse others never using their own self identity. Most of Twitter Rants are using profile image of anything than their own photo. We can't share our view with people who don't have their own identity.

We the Thekedaar of social networking and free speech should note promote tweet of people who don’t have their own identity.



We should not go with the words of Twitter rant who even don't know their name. I also have many abuse on my blog and on twitter which means They only abuse people than doing anything else. I also got few abuses on my post which means Twitter rant are only here to abuse and there is no connection that either you are involved or not in scam.



If government wants to make Law against twitter rants who abuse people than there should be a law but yes there should be guarantee that own name of twitter rants government should not take actual users and critics at task and remove their post or request social media company to suspend their account.



We should use social sites as medium to debate and not as ROAD SIDE MAVALLI.

I am very happy to know that even Shashi Tharoor is not in favor of censorship provided by few buts.

I am totally agreed that trend like #IdiotKapilSibal is wrong and people should have condemned him like critics then road side hooligan. I never commented nasty comment on anyone and yes few times got abusive words from others on my time line.

It doesn't mean that people are giving abusive feedback then I should stop writing my blog. I never deleted or blocked the person abusing for my write up as their feedback give me the chance to know about people mentality.

I also agree that free speech doesn't mean that a person should stand in cinema hall and say FIRE FIRE but yes you can’t pass a decision that no one can speak in cinema hall. Mr. Tharoor can say that Sibal only want to stop people who shout Fire Fire.

Agree with you Mr. Tharoor on all points made and explained by you. As you are master of words so there is no chance for me to look for loop holes in any of your points. But who will give guarantee that once Censor ship will be in place then only religious and abusive content will be removed. Few months back same government thrown out Baba Ramdev from Ram Leela ground for his Anshan. You are happy to get political comments but what if next minister doesn't want to listen anything against him or her.

Now don't tell me that Baba Ramdev was calling for people to fight against government and wanted to divide India. The same government assaulted people in Mid Nights including women without any reason. Government was in fear that if Baba will continue then there will be more –ve comments on them.

We know as per our culture women can’t take their bikini off at our beaches of Goa but they can swim here with full freedom. Censorship is like speed breaker. As government can remove and moderate any post in name of religion.
