Why Tharoor is Good option !

Rajdeep Sardesai told “In
the age of marketing, there is perhaps no social category as attractive as the

lifestyle designed to promote this ‘youth’ culture. And now, in the battle for
power in the next general elections, it is this ubiquitous youth factor that is
expected to play a bigger role than ever before.”

In 2014 general election number
of voters between age of 18 and 23 will be 110 million of the 800 million
eligible voters.  Rajdeep farther told,This is, in a sense, the Virat Kohli generation, not even the Sachin Tendulkar one: their appetite for Twenty20 cricket is translated into their life goals: a generation which is aggressive, aspirational, consumerist and impatient for change. This is an India, especially in the metros, which has only used mobiles, never seen a black and white TV, is Internet savvy and never heard of the Soviet Union."

I enjoyed reading Rajdeep’s
post “Making a connection”. He crafted all his points very well and most of the
skills are yet to be born in Mr.Gandhi, I can see them in Shashi Tharoor. I
know Mr.Gandhi for spending night in Dalit Family, travelling in local train of
Mumbai, carrying half bucket of sand with labours & going Bathha Prasaul
for photo session. I don’t
think Rahul ever tried to learn anything about India like Tharoor did. I see Tharoor as visionary.

Shashi Tharoor is very
active in parliament session. We can see Shashi on news channels defending the
undefendable congress. We have seen him attending press conference, going to
book release show, interacting with people. Tharoor was 1^st Indian
politician to cross million follower on twitter & tech savvy Tharoor has
his FB page with all updates. I myself communicated many time with Tharoor. I
mostly found him inspiring and Tharoor can motivate youth, which we don’t see in
Rahul Gnadhi.

Congress should start
promoting Shashi Tharoor as their 2014 election PM candidate than Rahul Gandhi.

Free Speech & Social Media

It’s not new for people on India that government is talking
about censorship on social media. Few months more Mr.Sibal was very keen to
introduce law to regulate social media specially twitter and facebook, which
created revolution like India Against Corruption. As soon as government started
talking about censorship on social media many people came with their view in favor
& against of Social media. Mr.Shashi Tharoor also wrote a very nice post on
supporting free speech and at same time supporting his Minister for his comment
for regulation on Social Media. for which many people replied to him and he took all the comment very positively

Do India need regulation on social media?

So answer is yes we need some regulation to control communal material.
There are many people on social platform, posting communal material with fake
identity. If we believe on recent incidents of North East & Riot took place
in Mumbai & chaos in many cities of India have been taken birth from social
website and sms. It’s very clear that we need some regulation to control social
media.

Why people are not supporting government on regulation of social
media?

People have fear that once regulation law will be on place then
government may start removing & blocking of material criticizing government
and it’s decision. It’s been also told that when last time government asked
search giant to remove some online material then most of the materials were
critising government than communal post.

Can we see Media supporting regulation on social media?

Yes, Media is now supporting regulation on social media as after
government it’s media getting attacked by unknown people on social websites. In
past social media trended issues like BarkhaGate when main stream media was
silent on 2G issue. Social websites have given many name to media and yes many
time abused them. Few recent tweet from Sagarika Ghose has shown that how
people are misusing social platform to abuse her. In back doors people are also
talking that social media is giving tough competition to Media houses when it
comes to breaking news.

Can we control social media with regulation?

Confused, Videos which were circulated showing muslims are
getting killied in Barma were circulated from out of India. Most of the fake
accounts are writing communal messages & operating from out of India.
Government has to keep monitoring all social platform very closely and keep
blocking websites which are writing hate speech.

Is there danger to Free Speech?

Yes, As told above government may start removing post, critising
government act and talking about all scam of government and it’s ministers.

@ShashiTharoor ..I came to know about this name from his controversies.
His cattle class remark on twitter forced me to open twitter account and
to know more about him. There was time when News Channels use to talk anything about Politician
and Actor. There Masala used to be as per the taste of Viewer. 24X7 news
Channels many time cooked story without having any truth. Media took
Tharoor comment many time to criticise him but with the help of twitter
he always cleared his part very well.

Shashi Tharror - Great Leader

Shashi Tharoor is MP from Kerala state. He is only MP who daily updates
about all new development on his state. He is doing his best to make
development in all fields of Kerala. Shashi Tharoor is doing all
possible work to provide Kerala an international platform. A great writer from age of 6. Tharoor wrote many books. A great spoke
person who is having depth knowledge of India and it's politics. Ex
External Affair Minister did great work in foreign affairs. His books
have mind blowing impact on People of world.

should have condemned him like critics then road side hooligan. I never

Cattle Class – Shashi Tharoor

Few years back Shashi Tharoor came in news due to his remark of cattle class on economy class flight. Congress wanted to fly their minister in economy class to save tax payer money. On one hand Congress was asking their minister to control their expenses incurred by tax payers money and same time Minister like Shashi Tharoor was living in five star hotel.

Shashi Tharoor tried to explain reason for living in five star Hotel. He was living on hotel as there was delay for allotment of house in Delhi and he was traveling too much between Kerala and Delhi so he booked himself a room in five star hotel from his own money and shifted when Media made this a big issue.



Shashi Tharoor also explained his point on cattle class remark as per him it was just a word to describe service of Air Lines in economy class. It’s very commonly used word in west. He also told people interpreted it wrong way and connected his remark as remark on people traveling in economy class.



Shashi Tharoor made it very clear his point on cattle class and his stay in five star hotel so please don’t blame him now for any of above points.

It doesn't mean that people are giving abusive feedback then I should stop writing my blog. I never deleted or blocked the person abusing for my write up as their feedback give me the chance to know about people mentality.

I also agree that free speech doesn't mean that a person should stand in cinema hall and say FIRE FIRE but yes you can’t pass a decision that no one can speak in cinema hall. Mr. Tharoor can say that Sibal only want to stop people who shout Fire Fire.

Agree with you Mr. Tharoor on all points made and explained by you. As you are master of words so there is no chance for me to look for loop holes in any of your points. But who will give guarantee that once Censor ship will be in place then only religious and abusive content will be removed. Few months back same government thrown out Baba Ramdev from Ram Leela ground for his Anshan. You are happy to get political comments but what if next minister doesn't want to listen anything against him or her.

Now don't tell me that Baba Ramdev was calling for people to fight against government and wanted to divide India. The same government assaulted people in Mid Nights including women without any reason. Government was in fear that if Baba will continue then there will be more –ve comments on them.

We know as per our culture women can’t take their bikini off at our beaches of Goa but they can swim here with full freedom. Censorship is like speed breaker. As government can remove and moderate any post in name of religion.

ShashiTharoor also getting chance to reply the right answers to media with his Twitter platform. There are continuous comments from him on various news in India and World. I haven't read anything about 2G scam on his time line ? I am one of the luck Person who got reply from him on various issues. Tharoor has power to reach 10lacs people at a single time. His words are getting read by 10lacs people.

I think ShashiTharoor is only politician who is using twitter account very well to reach people. No doubt that twitter is full of with people who only take pledge to abuse people but a good thing is always come with bad things. I am sure Tharoor won't bloke anyone on his time line as it'll take more time so better ignore.



I have written a blog on Tharoor once which was replica of Wikipedia as what I wrote was there before but on that also Tharoor advise me to try something new. I have written many posts & log in to twitter to follow Tharoor and later on started with my old hobby of writing.



I know my total page view of blog is not a 2% of Tharoor's follower but I always learn & react with Tharoor. Wish there will be more active politician should be easily reachable like Tharoor so soon India will grow with much faster rate.
