FDI in Retail on Hold

Congress put FDI on hold due to pressure from BJP and More from Mamta Banarjee. FDI became reason of walk out from both houses. Opposition did their best to condemn Congress on FDI. As being in opposition they did their work to condemn decision of government despite of their result.

Foreign Direct Investment in Retail was opposed by Political class due to their disadvantage on Middle Man involved in between farmer to consumer. If a company is going to purchase product directly from Producer and will sale directly to customer then the price for consumer will be lower.



Congress has shown lack of maturity on FDI. They first allowed FDI in retail and then due to lot’s of pressure they hold it. The reason is not good enough to hold FDI. Let Mamta should take her support and people realised who is against people.



Congress firm stand on FDI must have given them some good point in front of people.
